The Greek word "philoxenia" (φιλοξενία) combines "philos" (loving) and "xenos" (stranger/guest)—literally "love of the stranger" or "friend to the guest."
In this sacred practice of philoxenia, we find a calling deeper than mere hosting—it's an invitation to love the stranger as friend. Whether sharing a meal, smiling, or lending a listening heart, each act of welcome becomes a holy moment where love transforms stranger to friend, and ordinary spaces become sanctuaries of grace.
