This haiku invites us to reclaim the sacred space boredom once held in our childhood—a quiet, untethered time where wonder + curiosity audaciously played. In the stillness of those unstructured hours, our souls found room to wander, imagine, and create without pressure or pretense.
This is the heart of Sankofa: returning to the gift of boredom, recognizing it not as emptiness but as fertile ground for soul growth + creative renewal.
